Another beautifully written classic from Jane Austen. Persuasion is full of her always note-worthy characters,and of course, a plot twist here and there. Written in Austen's famous wit and humour, and life's challenges to overcome self-flaws, it will not disappoint any Austen fan.

This was my first Austen book and I’m afraid it will be my last. I’m don’t care for romance novels in general but I chose this one to complete several reading challenges. I felt the writing was so hard to follow and uppity, like most of the characters. The characters made me roll my eyes and they were, mostly, spoiled and stuffy. Im an older female who has never been married and know that society, still today, frowns on that. So, I specifically don’t like the female characters constantly talking
