Well she did it again ! Good job I’m not in work today as I stayed up too late to finish this - and yet again she cemented my love for her story telling It was so fantastical and heart wrenching places as we follow the journey of Marinka.

Really fun read... made me want to look up references to other Slavic fairy tales.
This book moved my heart and imagination in so many perspectives. Such beautiful vivid writing style. The storyline teaches us a lot about life as a whole. I wish the writer my best for more beautifully crafted stories like this one. And oh... now I will be looking for places where I can taste all these Russian and Polish dishes and drinks! 😅
