I found this very similar to Dark Matter. A bit creepy, but not actually very scary. I liked the period feel of the writing, many authors aren't good at that, but Michelle Paver makes the prose sound authentically 1930's. I did wonder why on earth anyone would want to climb a mountain! ...more
