I really loved this book and it is heading straight to my favorites shelf.
Wow!! Just amazing.
I vaguely knew the story of Achilles, but seeing him from Patroclus' eyes made the story more hauntingly beautiful. The love the Patroclus had for Achilles goes beyond anything that I can think of at this moment.
Madeline Miller is an absolutely amazing author and if everything else holds up to the world she created here, she will have another fan for life. ...more
