I learned Greek mythology and the Trojan war in elementary school in Greece. The Greek mythology is a subject I enjoy reading, especially when you find similarities in stories all over the region of the Mediterranean sea (including the Middle East of today).
The truth is I was hesitant to pick The Song of Achilles, but I decide to release my fears and see Madeline Miller's perspective of the Patroclus & Achilles friendship. Yes, at that era there were relationships between men, espec ...more
