This one is between three and four stars for me. But, even though it is a first book of a new series (where I tend to round up), it just doesn't quite make it to rounding up to four.
The book reads really 'young' even for a young adult book. But, then it also has some fairly well-described violence in it. I am not necessarily against the violent scenes as they added to the plot and were not too graphic, but in a YA book that reads so young it was surprising.n(that said, if comments on this page ...more
