4.5 stars. An excellent first novel for Jane Harper. A lot of twists and turns and red herrings with everything tied up at the end. No loose strings hanging, no questions unanswered. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Wow I wasn’t expecting to be but I was hooked !! I couldn’t put it down as I needed to know what happened next and I wasn’t disappointed - Jane kept me guessing right till the end - really did not expect the ending !

The writing is easy to follow/read an covers a good mix of description and conversation .

I will definitely be reading more by this author !
Shout out to my dad who lent me this book and said read this it’s good !!
