I'm a huge fan of Bolton's stand alone books, so I was excited to read the first in her Lacey Flint series. Even though it was a little more gruesome than the books I usually read, Lacey is a fascinating main character and the story was completely riveting. Bolton's writing pulls you in and I found myself walking with Lacey through the streets of London, hearing the sounds, breathing in the smells, and experiencing the city in a new way. Can't wait to read more! 4.5 stars rounding up.
