Voilà un A&P qui change de toutes nos lectures habituelles et nous sort de notre train-train ! C'est un roman tout simplement passionnant que nous propose Alyssa Cole, mêlant espionnage, aventure et romance, le tout sur fond de guerre de Sécession et de lutte fratricide entre Sudistes et Yankees.

2 .5 stars down to 2 stars for Goodreads. This was one of my highly anticipated authors that I wanted to finally read from this year.I love historical fiction and romance, so a romance set during the Civil War sounded good to me. I was sadly disappointed. Not enough historical and way too much sex. I had so many books by Alyssa Cole on my TBR; I guess this is a way to shave off some books from my TBR. I extremely doubt that I will continue with this series.

An Extraordinary Union is a historical romance set during the Civil War. The main characters are two Union sympathizers who team up to help defeat the Confederacy. Elle is a free black woman who agrees to return to the south to work undercover as a slave. She has an eidetic memory, something which makes her incredibly valuable to the Union.
