Few things in life were more entertaining than haunted houses.

Charley is back! Reyes entered the god glass on a retrieval mission and returns as Rey'azikeen. Pretty soon afterwards all hell (literally) breaks loose.

I'm glad that this series has gotten back a little bit towards more personal (about Charley and Reyes) and less about the various gods and demons, etc. (although there's still quite a bit of that). But this book picks up where the last one ended, with Reyes coming back from the hell dimension, but he's a changed man, a malevolent god rather than the man Charley loves. In this 12th installment of the Charley Davison series, Charley is dealing with the repercussions of her actions in the last book. Reyes has gone all evil god on her and she's trying to bring back the man/demon/son of satan she loves. There is a lot of Garrett in this book.
