Whoa there was a lot more that wasn't know in previous books that was given in this book. I'm so enjoying this series and really, really hate for it to end. Charley and Reyes are so good together and make such a great team but also with the rest of their included family which are also part of their team like Cookie, Angel, UB, etc. I so misss Charley's dad but he gave her so much in the previous book. There was so much but I can't spoil it for others.

C'est dingue comme tome après tome, Darynda Jones peut encore arriver à me surprendre et à me faire de sacrés nœuds au cerveau ! Je trouve ça fou de voir comme elle arrive à complexifier son univers et son intrigue au fur et à mesure qu'on avance dans la série et je dois avouer que dans ce tome, elle m'a parfois perdue un peu en route. I am so happy that life is back to "normal" for Charley Davidson. After a brief sojourn to Sleepy Hollow, NY, the gang is back in Albuquerque doing PI work, talking with ghosts, and fighting demons from another dimension. I like this version of Charley - she isn't as in your face with her snarkiness and she is controlling her powers with more effectiveness. I liked the development of the "murder" and the mysterious illness at the group home. Reyes...what can you say about him? Fully trustworthy
