#10 in the Charley Davidson paranormal series
This series is fun and entertaining and definitely still keeps me interested. I liked this one a lot, I think, because it spent more time on Charley's regular work as a P.I., although there was some progress on the Gods of Uzan front as well. In this episode, Charley is asked to help out an accused murderer because his friend (the Assistant District Attorney) is convinced he didn't do it. I am in awe of Darynda Jones.
Just when I think that things can't get any better in this world, she proves me wrong.
I never laugh as hard as a do when I read a Charley Davidson book. Add to that the intrigue and sexy times between Charley and Reyes, you have the makings of the most amazing book ever.
It is so great to see Charley deal with her powers, she is still learning and has a ways to go, but all that adds a new layer to the story. I love seeing the vulnerable side to Reyes, he is so stron ...more
