If the woman howling from the backseat of Agent Carson's black SUV weren't already dead, I would've strangled her.
Charley never ceases to make me laugh. In this installment of the series, Charley is pregnant with Reyes child, twelve hell hounds have been unleashed to rip her to shreds, her dad is missing and several people are missing after leaving strangely familiar suicide notes.
This series is like a bag of chips. I simply can't stop when I start the book. I listened to this one which was new ...more

#7 in the Charley Davidson paranormal series
This series is really coming into its own, it seems. Charley is so much more appealing. Rather than trying so hard to be sarcastic and clever, she now seems to have her rhythm with just enough snark to be funny without being obnoxious. She and Reyes are engaged, and they are getting closer as they continue to fight against the elusive hellhounds. This time they enlist the help of the Dava (now known as Osh). Uncle Bob and Cookie's romance is getting cl ...more

I was really excited to get back into Charley's world, and Seventh Grave and No Body fulfilled that task.
Charley has a lot on her plate. She has a fiance who doesn't want to leave her side for various reasons (I don't want to spoil anything), suicide notes are being left but no bodies are being found, bodies being stolen out of graves, all while being hunted by hell hounds.
The connection and chemistry is still there between Reyes and Charley, even though I feel like things are moving way faster ...more

There isn't much more I can say about this series but WOW. Reyes Farrow is one hot dude and I'm still wondering where I can get one just like him. lol
Charley Davidson is running for her life in this one since the Twelve have been released and are after her. Twelve hell hounds that is. As usual there is a whole lot going on and Charley, Reyes, Cookie and Osh band together to solve kidnappings, suicides, crazed ex-cons, a crazy reporter whose after Reyes (in a totally different manner). Yup this o ...more

Charley has a lot on her plate as always. Her dad is missing, someone is grave-robbing girl's bodies, suicide notes are being left with no bodies and hell hounds are after her and Beep.
I do like this series, but Charley can get annoying. She acts TSTL all the time and never gives a second thought to rushing into danger and gets annoyed when people try and protect her and Beep. She's lucky she is some all-powerful being (who is still learning) as that is the only thing that saves her most of the ...more

As usual Darynda Jones has done an amazing job pulling us with Charley into her world.
Charley is an amazing, sarcastically funny, heroine and I love how she loves and tries to take care of all the people that are important to her. (Plus the departed). Most of all I love seeing the growth of her relationship with Reyes, and the journey that she is taking to find out more about her true self and her powers. It is definitely an experience not to be missed.
