I hadn't read this series for a long time and I wasn't sure if I would still like it and remember what it was about. But I was unnecessarily worried.

As a rule, I don't like funny books. I just rarely find them amusing, and most often they irritate me. This is one of the exceptions. I admit that this series balances on a very fine line between what amuses me and what makes me roll my eyes. But so far, most of the time, it has managed to stay within this boundary.

The mysterious good stuff that moves a book from something to do to a really good read that has been missing from this series for the last installment or so tries to regain that ground with the busy-ness of this entry. Charley is still reeling from Reyes being her new neighbor, continues with the Tidwell case which give all of the regulars and semi-regulars meaningful cameos and gives Cookie a chance to try her chops.

Mais um livro alucinante no mundo da Charley Davidson =D
Adoro a escrita desta autora e o modo como ela cria os personagens e as suas personalidades. O facto da Charley ser como é, é o principal ponto que me leva a ler esta coleção, porque sei sempre que vou dar imensas gargalhadas com os livros e que me vou divertir enquanto os leio.
