What Members Thought
Even though it tries really hard, this book unfortunately falls victim to the Second Book Slump. We lose a lot of the tech from the first book, and the tech we do see is repetitious. There's a lot of wandering around, moodiness and general angst. It's an angsty book. There is some forward motion, but not enough to make this book great on its own. It's basically a decent second book that you trudge through to get to the third and final book in the series, but not weighty enough to hold much merit

More like a 3.5 star but not quite a 4 star book. I liked it but it wasn't as great as the first one, I just started the third one which I'm hoping is good and has a satisfying ending.
