This is a fictionalized version of Charles Dickens and the writing of A Christmas Carol. According to the author “It is meant as a playful re-imagining of how the story... came to be. I have twisted, embellished, and reordered the facts to serve the plot.” Indeed! The rock star status, debt and people depending on him seems to be true as are many of the characters. He seemed to like to put real name in his works and draw on real events. It was fun.
