What Members Thought

I feel a little odd, since I normally don't rate a book that is a critical darling highly. Nor do I rate highly something that is popular on Goodreads (which this book is apparently not). But I liked it. I loved it, in fact.
It's not the most original book, but I have a soft spot for dysfunctional families. Especially with those whose denizens I like. And I did like the Plumb family. They all want a piece of The Nest - a trust fund that their father instituted so that they would have a small cush ...more

This did not turn out to be what I thought it would be and I'm sorry I didn't read it sooner. Great characterization, lovely storyline. I highly recommend.

This book can best be described as...
multiple personality disorder
If you read it, you will understand within one chapter.

It's one of those that I feel like was stuck between something that is truly escapist (and

Ho Hum! This book was not anything like I thought it would be. I don't understand why this book is getting so much hype! The story was not developed as well as it could have been and I was just not a satisfied reader at the end!

A contemporary stand alone, that I would recommend to a lot of people. Especially those with siblings, it is so interesting to see the interaction between the ones in this story and how they all react differently to challenge.
