Listened to this audiobook with my husband while on a road trip. We both really liked it. Our only real complaint is that even though the narrators were pretty decent the quality of the audio was not. It irritated my husband enough to take a star away from his rating of the book.

It isn't very action packed. It's more slowly paced and there was a lot of repetitive thoughts while the MC was trying to put everything together. Normally that is not my sort of thing. I get bored easily. But it was di

I was browsing my city's public library that has an ok English book section. I saw it had a lot of David Baldacci's books, I knew you he is my best friends favorite author, and I wanted to read one of his books. Even though I have at home the first book of another of his series I decided to pick it up. There was another sign that I picked this book on my best friend's birthday.
It is my first Baldacci book, and I enjoyed the premise and the pacing of the plot. I like when a book teaches you somet

Disclaimer: This reader prefers books, but there are times when traveling that audio-books are preferred.

. Super interesting but just as sad story. Amos Decker is a likeable though troubled hero. (view spoiler) ...more

A very interesting premise for a main character. Amos is surprisingly sympathetic. I liked the cast of supporting characters as well. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. ...more

I picked this one up off my shelf where it's been sitting for quite a few years. I didn't really know what to expect, but it sure wasn't Amos Decker! I actually really liked him. He's a really complicated character, and I was really intrigued by how his brain works … the connections he could make with his internal DVR. I found all of that to be fascinating - and terrifying! I can't even imagine being able to have total recall of every second of my life. The book starts out a little slow, but onc ...more

I liked this book until it got stupid preachy on stupid PC crap. And his emotions at the end is complete BS. But I find Decker to be an interesting character.
