this is not my typical type of book but I'd had it recommended to me by several people and saw very high ratings on both LM and GR so decided to give it a try....which I'm glad I did. A very interesting psychological thriller. I enjoyed it tremendously, particularly the details of the Scottish island and the harshness of living in an isolated place. I've always wanted to visit Scotland and this just cements that desire.

I try really hard not to put spoilers into my review because I want people to want to read (or not read) the book I'm reviewing based on my review. I figure it's not helpful to potential readers if they can't read my review because it contains a bunch of spoilers.
