Trouble seems to be brewing in Wagtail, Virginia for
Miller's grandmother ( Oma ) !!! When Holly receives
a call from her grandmother's friend that she needs
to come right away, she hops into her boyfriend's car
and rushes to Wagtail. On the way Holly stops for gas

Much better than I hoped it would be. I fell in love with Twinkletoes the kitten. I also liked the reasoned way the main character Holly goes about finding the killer, being appropriately respectful of and working with the authorities instead of thumbing her nose at them. Which unfortunately happens in too many cozy mysteries to count. I'm relatively new to cozy mysteries. One I really enjoyed, one I hated and this one is okay, There was nothing special about this one, I didn't guess the killer, but there really was no reason to suspect the person who did it in the 1st place. I may try the 2nd book in the series, but I'm in no real rush. ...more
