What Members Thought
I wanted to read this for over a year before I finally got to it, and now I'm honestly wondering if the movie might be better. (I still haven't seen it, so I can't say for sure.) I expected to love this book, to be enthralled by it, and also to learn a lot about the history of NASA and the black women who made so much possible. Ultimately, I was let down. I didn't hate the book, and I even loved a lot of it. But it was not what I was expecting at all.
