This was such a fun book! I look forward to reading more of this series
This is a very different and interesting UF world seen from the eyes of a dragon failure.
What I enjoyed:
* The world was refreshingly different. We have a dragon trapped in his human form, a mage being chased by a mobster, a ghost cat god and lots and lots of siblings.
* I really liked Julius and seeing the world from his eyes. He has been holed up trying to avoid his cut-throat family until he is kicked out and has to fend for himself and prove himself a "real" dragon by capturing a runaway drag ...more

Fun.
This one started out as a 3 star book, but as the author got to know the characters better, the dialog got better. If you like this book, you may also want to try The Generation V series.
