The games: men, companies, countries, play; this could have been avoided. Fine! Keep your secrets, but give the right information to the people that truly need it: like the Captain of the Ship. :(

This seems to be my year to read about ship wrecks, having read two different nonfiction accounts of the Titanic and now this one about the Lusitania. The book is interesting, taking us to the early twentieth century, setting the scene for World War I and America's avoidance and ultimate involvement in it, and bringing to life passengers across the economic spectrum. ...more
