I like this series. I read the third book first, Lowcountry Boneyard, unknowing that it wasn't the first book. So, I already knew some of the history (and future) of the characters, but I didn't know the killer because that wasn't spoiled in the third book. I don't know if I liked the mystery's resolution, but I liked Liz and the fact that she was a PI and did things in a fairly sensible manner. Mainly I like the family and the people, and the ambiance. Another great start to a series. At first I was a little worried about manufactured family drama, but when it turned out that the siblings were purposefully manipulating each other for their own ends, I loved it and related. :D The mystery had a ton of twists and turns and got a little dark, but I'm okay with that. I truly, truly don't understand why 99.9% of cozies seem to require love triangles, but I enjoyed it enough to continue on with the series.

Well I am hooked. What a good book. The story moves right along and I sure glad that there is a cast of characters to follow at the beginning of the book. I'm anxious to read more!
