What Members Thought
This was my second time reading Outlander and I didn't enjoy it as much the second go-round. Maybe this goes on the list of "Books I wish I could read again for the first time." Don't get me wrong--Jamie is absolutely THE most romantic and sweetest man of all time. And Claire....I would never have survived in her situation. But I just didn't love it to 5-stars this time around.

I've given up for now. I realize that it is a product of the times this book is set in, but a certain event and its attitude towards women really annoyed me so I had to put it down. I was gonna try to finish it, but I didn't think it was that great to begin with, so I've moved on.
