Talk about amazing! I absolutely loved this book! It is my favorite YA dystopian sci-fi I think I've read to date (granted I haven't read The Hunger Games yet, which I hear is incredible). I am SO excited for the next book in this series to come out. This book was so eerie, & I couldn't put it down. While reading it, I kept thinking about Ender's Game & Lord of the Flies - it gave me the same sense of curiousity, nervousness, excitement. . . . This book is definitely worth owning, & I'm excited

3.5 stars. Reading a book with so many questions and so few answers was frustrating at times. It was also very slow and confusing in the beginning and I didn't feel like I got to know most of the boys (except for Chuck) and Teresa well enough to care about them. But it has promise, so I will have to read the sequel and see if I like it better.
This book should have made me cry, but didn't, so I rated it 3 stars instead of 4 stars.

So going against most reviews, this book dragged on and on so for me that was a downfall. Also some of the language was just ugh shuck and klunk. About 60% of the way through this book it finally got a little interesting but still just dragged on and on. I only kept reading this book because it was supposedly so good from other reviews. Just not what I wanted I guess.

Another hard one to rate. I didn't like the first third of the book in part because I was listening to the audio version and thought the narrator was totally wrong for the character and the story. When I switched over to the print version I read the last 150 pages in almost one sitting. So, it definitely held my attention. But I definitely didn't like it anywhere near the way I liked Hunger Games. Although I did like it better than across the universe. I just didn't buy in to this dystopia. It s

I've had several friends recommend this series to me over the years. It took me a few chapters to really start enjoying the story though. I had to get use to the lingo at first, but as bits of the mystery behind the maze and boys started to come together, I slowly became more and more intrigued. Dashner did a great job of leaking out just enough information to keep you confused and eager for more throughout the entire book. The maze was a brilliant settings, the creatures that guarded it were in

3 1/2 stars. I started reading this and thought it was going to be like "The Lord of the Flies" which I hated reading in high school, but turns out it wasn't. Good that. I enjoyed it and will read the next one, although there better be some girls in it.

I LOVED this book. I was constantly trying to figure out what was going to happen next and kept getting surprised. The end was great because it resolved somethings but then hit you with something else. Loved it!! I can't wait until the next installment!!
