Mr. Churchill's Secretary by Susan Elia MacNeal is the first book in the Maggie Hope Mystery series. Maggie Hope, a brilliant mathematician, obtains a posting as Mr. Churchill's secretary, and becomes involved in an IRA/Nazi plot to destroy England. An interesting novel although not really much of a mystery, but rather poor espionage. I found the story rather farfetched and difficult to get into.
