Wow! Such a gripping, intense tale! I could hardly put this book down and I was pretty scared through a good portion - a 'good' scared though like riding a roller coaster or jumping off the high dive!

I just adored the Danny character. Awesome read.
This is actually my second time reading this book, but the first time I read I was 13 or 14 and I wanted to read it again cause I know I didn't get all I could out of it then. And I was right. This was so much creepier than I remembered it being when I read it the first time.

Jack Torrance takes a job as caretaker of the Overlook hotel for the winter. The Overlook is an isolated hotel in Colorado and once the snow comes it is cut off from the rest of the world.
