I saw the movie years ago so I didn't remember much outside the basics when I read this. I think I'm going to be freaking out every time I feel something brush me for the next month! Creep factor is at an all time high! I have learned some valuable traveling lessons though...

Note to self - usually i wouldn't mark a book I only half-finished as "read," buttt in this case I'm going to make an exception because! I attended a book club for this book and we talked about the entire thing extensively, including the parts I didn't read, and the movie, and the ending. So it counts.

When a group of friends finds one of their own missing they head into the forest to find him. When the locals warn them they do not listen. They soon find themselves stuck in the woods, surrounded by people with arrows and guns. The forest is a live malevolent thing and it doesn't want anyone to leave.

A horror moving esque book. The people make all the wrong decisions and act like idiots. They're warned many times by locals not to go, but they went. Couldn't help, but judge their every choice.
