It was a good book, but not mind-blowing. Although I managed to finish it, unlike last time.
Cinder was OK, but her constant worry about Kai got on my nerves. She has better things to think about rather than wondering if Kai is thinking about her or not.
I look foward to finish the series tho :)

So, when I suggested this title for book club, I didn't realize she was a cyborg and this was a sci-fi twist retelling of Cinderella. Definitely not my cup of tea, but I liked it better than I thought I would. The audio was meh...some character voices didn't differ much so it was a bit challenging to understand who was talking at times (but I had just listened to a horrible audio, so I welcomed this semi-decent one, gladly). I won't say that I "LOVED" this book...it was missing something for me. Maybe it is all the hype around it, I don't know. Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was the ending, just leaving off like that? It was good....well-written, good story line (far better than I even expected)....guess I'll be reading on! ...more

I have see this book on my goodreads feed for quite a time but i never feel the urge to start reading it.

As for this book it seems at first sight a fairy tale retelling of Cinderella with a little of snow white in the mixture, but when you start reading it you get so much more in the plot. The book is very fast paced and there is always happening things.
