I love Ms. Griffiths' Ruth Galloway series so thought I'd give this one a try even though I'm no fan of WWII or the 1950s. I enjoyed it well enough but I certainly don't want to read an entire series featuring a magician and an unseasoned cop.

Jan 2020: I sincerely love this series and this author and when I noticed that my library system has some of them on audio, I just disregarded other listens of new books to listen to a favorite. Fortunately, I can re-read mysteries because I rarely remember who the murderer is until just before the final reveal. So it's almost like the first time, except I know that I'm going to love it. :)
