Real life vet specialist turns his hand to fiction. Writes about a vet who inherits his father's business.

What I liked about this book was the slight oddness about the plot & relationship development. Not everything went the way I would have expected Nick to take it but that's the nice part about a writer who isn't accustomed to fiction. You can't always predict where they'll take the story and I like that.

Recommended for animal lovers.
