I loved this book! It took me just a bit to get into it, but then built and built to a really wonderful ending. Daniel and Jade have been dear friends since childhood; while he has long cherished a deep love for her, he's not been able to express it. She'd been engaged to another man and lost him tragically —but now, she's home, pregnant with twins from a date-rape. Jade's always counted on him, but it would be strange to think of him as a man to be attracted to—right? But she leans on Daniel mo ...more

Dancing With Fireflies is the second book in the Chapel Spring series and another great story. Contemporary Romance is not a genre I gravitate towards; but, I've read several great ones - including this latest from Denise Hunter.

From the first couple pages my attention was snagged and from then on I didn't want to stop reading - it was just SO good! Something major happens in the

Awww what a sweet book. My favourite in the series so far! The story touched on a tough topic but I thought the author handled it very well. Loved the characters. Daniel was defintely swoon worthy! :) Enjoyed reading about characters from the last book too. Once I started this book I could not put it down.Definitely one of the best romances I have read this year. (Meant to be Mine still has my top spot) Off to order the next book from the library! :)

If this book hadn’t have opened with an on-page date-rape scene that unsettled me for nearly half the book, I would have loved the story and rated it higher. That scene was such a hard one, and it fueled a few traumatizing nightmares.

Another thing that bothered me was that on at least two separate occasions, Daniel walked in on Jade while she was taking a shower. He didn’t immediately excuse himself or seem embarrassed by this, which was highly irresponsible and inconsiderate of him. For this re

I don't think there is a single person out there who could not love Daniel!! I cared for him even in Hunter's first book in the series where he made a a few cameos. A few times both Daniel and Jade did some things I was annoyed about (come out and say it already!!!) but I enjoyed both characters so much that I didn't mind actually. I devoured this book in less than 24 hours. Can't wait to get my hands on the next one :) ...more
