So disappointing. It's predictable chick lit (not that I despise chick lit, I enjoy a lot of it but not this one)- way too many personal tragedies per capita in a charming small town, yet tiny cast of characters contains soul mates for important characters. I would say that I read a lot, more than the average person. I read books like a starving person at a buffet, one after the other.
So it was really surprising to me that after I finished this book, I actually had to close my kindle and reflect on this novel, I wasn't able to just pick up another book and start a new adventure.
A.J. Fikry is such a wonderful character full of great one liners that had me both laughing and shaking my head.
