Great start to a new series and author for me. Alex Lovell is a PI whose specialty is making people disappear, as in undetectable. Her latest case involves a woman, Melanie, on the run from her husband who is a highly respectable police officer newly promoted to a drug unit. Nathan is a detective with the Austin Police Department who becomes involved in Alex's determination to prove that Melanie's husband is a not so clean person.
