I read this book for a book bingo and I am so glad I did. This is a story of love gone wrong, new loves, and old loves. It is an amazing love story with a surprising ending. I loved the characters and the story. A book I couldn't put down.

This story starts with Samantha Wickersham applying for a job as a nurse to Lord Fairchild. He was injured in the war and went blind. He is angry and feeling sorry for himself. She takes charge and after some time gets through to him. Of course, they both start to fall in love with each other. But Samantha has a secret. When Gabriel finds out her secret will he still love her?
I liked this story. Samantha is a spunky character and does not let herself get down!
