Several reviews were very positive about this book. They said it was very scary.
I found it mostly annoying. I did not really like the main characters. With the exception of Go, Nick's sister. All the others were selfish. Especially Nick and Amy, who both just want to: 'Tell my story. Mine, mine, mine.'.
So I have to admit this book was a bit of a struggle sometimes. And not a bit scary.
But it is well written and I like the set-up of letting Amy an Nick tell their own story side by side.

I enjoyed this more that I might have imagined. It was long but suspenseful and there were times I couldn't stop reading. I cannot wait to see the movie.
