What Members Thought
I read this for a book club. I liked the story, I liked the uniqueness of the writing. I did not like the language or the vulgarities that were woven throughout. My justice sensor was not appeased in the end.
Several reviews were very positive about this book. They said it was very scary.
I found it mostly annoying. I did not really like the main characters. With the exception of Go, Nick's sister. All the others were selfish. Especially Nick and Amy, who both just want to: 'Tell my story. Mine, mine, mine.'.
So I have to admit this book was a bit of a struggle sometimes. And not a bit scary.
But it is well written and I like the set-up of letting Amy an Nick tell their own story side by side.
