This is a well-written book with great forward pacing that makes for an engaging story of Marie Tussaud who works at the wax museum, Salon de Cire, in France during the Revolution. I was expecting the story to center on Marie's personal and work life with the French Revolution as the backdrop. The book instead centered on telling the story of the French Revolution through Marie and her museum.
