All I can say is WOW!!!! And Reyes...double WOW. This story is amazing.

Charley Davidson is a kick-ass heroine who gets her ass handed to her nightly (she really needs to learn how to fight). Luckily she has a guardian angel to save her from death time and time again. Charley is the Grim Reaper which really just means she sees dead people and helps them move on to the next world. She also uses her ability to see ghosts to help her cop uncle solve crimes. In addition to the death elements, the boo

I wasn't sure what I was expecting with the start of this series, but whatever my expectations, I really liked it. I thought Charley Davidson was the kind of kick-ass, funny, sassy heroine that I just love and there was just the right amount of humour, romance and plot to make the book a great read. I loved the whole concept of Charley being able to talk to the dead. I think one of the funniest parts was when the dead lawyer, Elizabeth, was sitting between Charley and Garrett (although the latte ...more

This book was great. It was such a breath of fresh air because it was about a Grim Reaper (not a usual UF character). Don't get me wrong I love my Vamps, Weres and Angels but it is just nice to have something different for a change. The book was well written and I laughed out loud quite a few times. I can't wait to read the next one!! ...more

3.5 stars. Good but not great. I will continue the series, but though I like Charley Davidson, her sexy mystery man, her best friend Cookie and the snarky dialogue, I'm not compelled to rush out and read the next book. Premise is great, it just wasn't as good as it could've been.

This was a really fun read!! Lots of action and plenty of laughs to keep things moving along! Charley is awesome and my new fav heroine! It was surprisingly racy for a mainstream book. Not a complaint just an observation! Things take a turn at the end and the author wraps of most plot lines but leaves enough open to whet the appetite for more!

All the supporting characters are as great as the lead! Can not wait to read the next book!

Charley Davidson is a PI and the Grim reaper. She can see dead people and help them cross over. Charley is helping her Uncle Bob solve the case of three lawyers who were murdered. She is also trying to figure out why she keeps having steamy dreams about Reyes Farrow a man she has met once. An ok paranormal romance. Interesting enough that I'll look up the next book in the series. ...more

My review is in spoiler tags because it hasn't been edited yet. It probable has too much negative stuff as that's what I tend to think to write down. If I'm enjoying myself, I don't want to stop reading! Plus, I listened to it in the car and couldn't really stop to take notes
