What Members Thought

This book was incredible. I was vested in the characters from the first page. It was one of those rare books that you don't want to end and feel a little bereft when you finish it because you are going to miss the people they have become so real to you. I really knew nothing about what happened to Hungary during WWII and was very surprised. It was interesting, sad, thought provoking and wonderful all at the same time. What a story. It was beautifully written, the characters were well developed, and I couldn't put it down. I've read several accounts of WWII in Europe, but never Eastern Europe.
