I enjoyed this book with a unique twist on grim reapers. I couldn't always identify with Lex - she is kind of a brat. But I found the writing style to be similar to A Series of Unfortunate Events but for teens. I liked the writing style and all the weird things it involved, such as jellyfish and spiders. It was a fun read, and I plan to read the rest of the books in the series to see how it pans out, and to see if I like Lex better as the story progresses. A quick read, one that was fun and unique. Lex wasn't the most likable character, but she did start to grow on me, and I'm interested to see where the story goes after the way the book ended - just not sure when I'll get to the next book. ...more
