My usual genre definitely does not include young adult not do I read fantasy, but this book really worked for me. It's light and amusing, despite the fact that it's about a 14-year-old girl who dies suddenly and has to fight for her place in heaven. Since she's done both good and evil things during her lifetime (she dies during a burglary after all), her aura is exactly even, which means she could go either up or down in the afterlife. Excellent - interesting story of what happens when someone dies and the final good vs bad score is tied. The trip back to earth to break the tie is fascinating.
