I don't usually read a lot of KA books, because they are usually sooo long, but this one was really good and worth it. It was still a little too long, but I enjoyed the whole thing. There was a sub-plot throughout the book with diamonds, and it hilarious towards the beginning with Indy and Ally bumbling around looking for them and getting in all of these different situations. I liked that there was something else going on except for Indy and Lee, and the way there was a story outside of them so

Yet another read and I still love the Rock Chicks!!!

So good!! I love this book more each time I read it. I also get some nostalgia for some of the places that are mentioned in the book that are no longer around, like Linens N' Things! And the book makes me want to go to Denver and try out some of the restaurants that are mentioned! Of course, Indy and Lee are awesome - I love them!!

Why did I wait so long to read this book?
You know those books where anything and everything happens to the MC? Eventually you feel like "yeah, yeah, come on already!" and it's just too much? This is not one of those books:) Anything and everything do happen to the MC, but it is written in such a perfect and hilarious way that you're enjoying the ride! Lee and Indy gave me warm feelings inside and their story made me happy. I will definitely continue this series and get to know the other charact ...more

I don't think I can take anymore of Kristen Ashley's books. They're way too long. Repetitive. I read the Dream Man series first before getting to Rock Chick and it's EXACTLY the same. Same type of characters. Same crazy female MC and alpha male. And then the storyline just drags on and on. Maybe if the storylines were dual POV I might be inclined to continue reading them but for now I've had my quota....

KA did a wonderful job introducing the Rock Chicks and their band of quirky merry men. Hers we meet Indy, ALLY, Liam, Hank, Eddie, Vance, Tea and so many more who we will see again and again in the next books. Yes, Indy is frustrating and unbelievable but she is funny and likeable at the same time. Wish I was a Rock Chick so I could get with one of the Hot Bunch.

This book had a nancy drew, detective working a case vibe to it. One of those stories you would see on CSI or something. The main character was very likeable and I, for the most part, liked the relationship between Indy and Lee. The big family and friends was nice too. I always like when the author puts in the appropriate amount of effort into knowing the MC life and making the reader actually interested in what happens to the minor characters. This book was recommended to me for a challenge an

The book needed to be about 50 pages shorter. I think cutting out the term "rock chick (s)" from the book would have done the trick.
