4 stars. My first Neil Gaiman book and I really, really enjoyed it. I had no idea what I was getting into when I picked it up but I'm so glad I took a chance on it. Such a breath of fresh air.

The story is hard to explain but while reading it I was hooked. The writing is fantastic and I really liked our main protagonist and the way the story was told.
