This book takes place over five days in 1964, at the elite St. Gregory Hotel in New Orleans. It weaves together the fortunes, conflicts, and intimacies affecting the hotel guests and management.
It had well written and memorable characters, some likeable and some downright revolting. Warren Trent is the St. Gregory's bigoted owner.
