You know the expression "If something is is too good to be true, it probably is." Well that is very true here. Coraline is a young girl who loves to go exploring. This time her exploring takes her to a happier, flip side of her reality. At least, that is what she thinks at first....

I thought this was a pretty good book. A nice fast read for me. I saw bits and pieces of the movie and didn't know it was based on a book until I went to the library. I loved the plot and characters of the story. Once I started reading I could not put it down.

The book was a little creepy, but not quite as creepy as the movie. Maybe that's because I saw the movie first, though. I don't think I would allow my young child to read this book, but overall I thought it was really interesting and creative. Not to mention mildly disturbing.
