Least favorite in the trilogy - Simon was wonderful, but their "love" came far too quickly (3.5 stars)
Definitely my least favorite of the three Prince books, which is also the most disappointing, because after the first one, The Raven Prince , I was soooo looking forward to Simon's story.

This was probably one of the better historical romances I've read in a while. It did have it's issues, but the characters were well developed and seemed more....real to me than some characters in historical romances.
Simon was immensely likeable as a leading man, though most women would have run screaming in the other direction upon learning his pretty gruesome hobby of skewering other men in duels. Duels fought with swords, not guns. The revenge part of the plot could have felt contrived and ch ...more
