Gut-wrenching tale, but I found no inspiration within; for me, this book held nothing but sadness.

I know that there is a very positive thread of human resilience in this story, but it's buried under such a thick sheen of Catholic theology that it doesn't shine through to me. Immaculee attributes virtually every positive thing in the book to God... is there any good left over for humanity?

I was also a bit mislead by the subtitle 'Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust'. Immaculee was clear

I read this in one sitting, and cried several times throughout. A very good, and solid read. A must for everyones library.
