This entry in the series takes place in 1969 in a country house in Kent. Although it was enjoyable, the best stories revolve around obscure and/or arcane London history, which this story did not have. Bryant and May are tasked with safeguarding a witness in the prosecution of a bribery case involving construction contracts.
